Next up in our latest roundup of new record sleeves is this 12″ cover for Acid Washed‘s forthcoming eponymously titled 12″, which features artwork by Anthony Burrill and No Days Off. Release date is November 1 – through Parisian label, Record Makers.

This is a scan of one side of a 7″ picture disc sent to us by Hello Thor Records. It is the debut single by Anxieteam, a musical collaboration between two visual artists, Jim Avignon and Jon Burgerman. Avignon produced the image that adorns the Let’s Eat Soya side (above) and Burgerman created the image for the Lonely In The Digital World side.

There are, as you might imagine, music videos in the pipeline for these two tunes by this new “power pop cheese slice electronic music band” (their words, not mine)  – but you can get a flavour of the music contained on the disc by watching this YouTube clip:

You’ve seen the video (if you haven’t – visit the previous blog post in which it appeared here) and now here’s the record sleeve. Yes, this is the artwork for the new single for Heathen Child by Nick Cave’s Grinderman outfit (released yesterday on Mute). There’s also a special double A-side 12″ release that not only has the two single tracks, Heathen Child and Star Charmer – BUT it comes a sleeve sporting gold foilblocked text containing a poster – AND the record includes the bonus track, Super Heathen Child, a collaboration between Grinderman and legendary guitarist Robert Fripp.

Grinderman 2, the band’s second album, is out next week and the front cover artwork looks like this:
