Sit back and relax by all means – but hang on to your sanity as our latest roundup of new music videos (from Flying Lotus, Yeasayer, Simian Mobile Disco and more) take you on a journey to places weird and wonderful…

First up, and directed by Weirdcore, is this video for Species Out Of Control by Simian Mobile Disco which begins a bit like a David Lynch road trip movie but ends up somewhere else entirely…

And in case that hasn’t put your head in a spin, here’s the video for track Black Egg by Snake & Jet’s Amazing Bullit Band (directed by M&E) which features the band performing live in a studio where a spinning main camera makes for lots of dizzy, psychedelic blurry sequences…

The video for Yeasayer‘s track Longevity (directed by Timothy Saccenti) sees the band perform the track as the singer ages visibly throughout – thanks to a combination of in-camera and post production effects. Full credits online here.

Director Yu Sato takes the viewer on a trip around Brixton Village market in his video for The Ride by Antonionian.

Last but by no means least is this short film directed by Kahlil Joseph for Warp act Flying Lotus. Rather than promote one track, the film features music from Flying Lotus’ forthcoming album, Until The Quiet Comes.
