Sitting on the fence

If you were raised in certain NYC neighborhoods you may hate this chair, which will remind you of the caged-in environs of your childhood, but privileged folk bereft of urban baggage will probably love it. Me, I recognize it’s “neat” but I’ve got mixed feelings about it.
In any case it’s called the “Cafe America” chair, by Grain Design, and it will be on display at Design Within Reach’s Seattle M+D+F exhibition tomorrow.
