Shoe of the Week – Steven Waren T Strap Platform Espadrilles

Steven shoes tend to have a higher price point, but along with that, come luxurious materials and on-trend design. This shoe, the Waren T Strap, combines two hip, of-the-moment trends for this season: chunky straps with an espadrille platform. The combination works nicely because the natural raffia platform balances out the chunky boldness of the upper leather. Platforms are the ultimate in daywear heels because of their comfort and the raffia adds a casual touch. But the leather straps give the design enough edge to take this wedge easily from day to night. Wear these to work with a tapered trouser and a boat-neck shirt, or an a-line skirt with a white linen button-up. To take these bad boys into night, switch out the pants for a mini skirt or the whole outfit for a hot dress and you’re all set!
