Shoe of the Week – Jeffrey Campbell Architectural Wedge

imageWedges are my favorite heel because they are usually the most comfortable and even though they gives inches and inches of height, the actual rise from toe to heel is considerably shorter than with pumps or stilettos.

This particular Jeffrey Campbell shoe attracts the eye because of the stunning structural detail of the platform. The wood platform is very geometric with a notch at the back of the shoe and square heel instead of a curved, rounded shape. The interesting shape of the platform paired with the basic black leather upper makes for a really cool, modern shoe that€™s not too overwhelming but still makes a fun statement.

The shoe is interesting enough to work with a simple skinny leg pant or shift dress but the colors are super neutral so they€™ll work with any color. I would wear them with red skinnies and a feminine blouse or tank top.
