Ripple table responds to touch with lights
Posted in: UncategorizedThe neato Ripple Interactive LED Coffee Table contains 480 super-bright white LEDs and optical sensors to provide illuminating feedback when objects are placed near the surface. At prices ranging from $1,500 to $2,100 depending on length, it’s a bit pricey for the house, though a table like this would be a big hit at a bar. Then again the lightshow effect, which looks cool as heck when you’re sober, is probably going to be quite disorienting when you’re drunk.
The Ripple is made by a collaboration between Because We Can and Evil Mad Science.
