Prague Design Days 2009: Designblok kicks off

Today, Prague’s favorite design festival kicks off! Designblok 2009 takes place from 6-11 October showcasing a top selection of designs, interiors, and fashion items all over town. Last year, over 30,000 visitors made Designblok the biggest social event in the city of Prague.
This year, the five-day event is anchored by two central exhibitions at the so called Superstudios (almost 6,000 square meters of showroom) both situated in the Holesovice area. A compact design guide promises a full program of exhibitions and happenings at the Karlin and Stare a Nove Mesto areas – just like the slogan says: “You can’t escape design!”
