Posted in: Eco-Urinal, Fang-Tian Ying, Liu Yi, Yue-Bo ShenApparently the Urea in your pee reacts with the hydrogen ions in water and releases electrons. If we go by this scientific information then there is a possibility of your pee generating electricity. This harnessed energy can be used to power the sensors that trigger flushing of the loo and perhaps the entire lighting set up of the bathroom. I have no validation to this theory but if it can be done, then someone please step on it. Otherwise a lot of pee is just going down the drain for nothing!
