Philips offers clues to Carousel follow-up

Philips is building the hype around its new advertising campaign, Parallel Lines, by releasing a teaser online…

Following the hugely successful Carousel interactive film, the new campaign features five short films created by five different RSA directors: Greg Fay, Johnny Hardstaff, Hi-Sim, Carl Erik Rinsch, and Jake Scott. While the five films will be diverse – the trailer above indicates how varied the film styles alone will be – they are apparently thematically linked, although Philips and the ad agency behind the campaign, DDB London, is currently keeping this theme under wraps. As in Carousel though, the campaign clearly aims to emphasise the cinematic quality of Philips’ TV sets.

The films will be released online on April 8, but fans of the Parallel Lines Facebook group will be able to view them a day in advance.
