Hasta La Ideas

The illustrations in the previous post reminded me of one of my favourite children’s books, Petunia by Roger Duvoisin (in retrospect, it is not surprising that, as a child, my favourite book was about a book!) Originally published by Knopf in 1950, its sweet illustrations are still fresh and endearing. (You can read the story in Laura Howard‘s flickr stream, although the pages appear to be out of proper order.)
