imageOxford Dictionary, the purveyor of the English language (seemingly) has been adding new words to the English language as we, the public, make them more and more popular. Both ‘Bling Bling’ and Beyonce’s only regrettable claim to fame, ‘Bootylicious’ have made the cut. As has ‘Chillax’ and, due to the Facebook epidemic, ‘De-friend’ (which is the worst diss ever!). Now, fashion gets to coin a term and it’s a classic. The long-used acronym for the go-to Little Black Dress, or ‘LBD‘ for the word and style savvy, has officially been recognized by the Oxford English Dictionary and as a tribute to this momentous occasion, we’ve decided to showcase our favorite LBD’s!
