Oxford Makes ‘LBD’ Official!

Both ‘Bling Bling’ and Beyonce’s only regrettable claim to fame, ‘Bootylicious’ have made the cut. As has ‘Chillax’ and, due to the Facebook epidemic, ‘De-friend’ (which is the worst diss ever!). Now, fashion gets to coin a term and it’s a classic. The long-used acronym for the go-to Little Black Dress, or ‘LBD‘ for the word and style savvy, has officially been recognized by the Oxford English Dictionary and as a tribute to this momentous occasion, we’ve decided to showcase our favorite LBD’s!
