Forget diamonds, shoes are definitely a girl’s best friend. But sometimes shoes can suddenly become a frenemy, especially those darned stilettos. My feet have had enough of those spindly heels getting caught in sidewalk cracks or making my feet hurt after a few hours of wearing them. So I’ve dug up some of my favorite shoes from last fall, the chunky heel. If the stiletto is the popular girl, then the chunky heel is the indie princess. This shoe definitely has that ’70s vibe but none of the feathered hair! While you may only think of heavy pumps when it comes to big heels, there are a ton of options for spring and summer.
