pThat’s exactly what happens at A HREF=”http://www.mfta.org/home” Materials for the Arts/A, a NYC-based organization that gathers leftover materials–wood, paper, fabric, furniture, computers, electronic equipment, you name it–and redistributes them, free of charge, to creatives and creative organizations that need the stuff.
