Meet the Diana F+ CMYK, the latest addition to the retro-styled range of 1960s cameras from the Lomographic Society. But just so you know, it’s pronounced “Eff Plus Smeek”…

“See Em Why Kay” just didn’t cut the mustard it seems, despite the printing initialism for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Key (meaning Black) being the inspiration for the dynamic colourway design of the newest Diana model.

The all-plastic Diana range was originally launched in the early 1960s, with the Diana+ (which boasted a “balanced” lens) launching in 2007 and the Diana F+ (with a flash) coming out last year.

In fact, there’s a whole family of Diana models – notably a red and white one named the Meg in homage to the White Stripes and even a creepy green glow in the dark version – all of which can be seen on the Lomography website.

And most of the them – bar the all-white Edelweiss model – don’t have silly names.
