New York Fashion Week F/W 2010: Charlotte Ronson

imageA favorite of celebrities such as Gisele Bundchen, Nicole Richie, and Mischa Barton, Charlotte Ronson’s Fall 2010 collection for New York Fashion Week definitely speaks towards the ’70s vibe her loyal fans love. Long pleated skirts and dresses in colors from black to rust orange, velvet waist coats, and over the knee boots were reminiscent of bohemian vagabonds of the past. The collection had both long and loose-fitting clothing as well as cinched wrap coats and dresses. According to this collection, celestial prints are here to stay for at least another season. One of my favorite looks from the collection was a reworked classic: a black leather trench coat with a pleated shirt dress underneath. For hair, the models had loose waves that were covered with cotton turbans. Makeup was very minimal and easygoing with brown lined eyes and fresh pink pouts.

Trends: 1970s, long skirts, pleats, turbans
