Here’s a rather interesting design feature: The interior of the newly-announced Mini Countryman–a beefier, four-door Mini–features an center-mounted interior rail running from the front seats to the back. Passengers can “clip in” storage bins, cupholders, cell phone holders, MP3 holders, and “other comfort features,” though it doesn’t say what those latter features are. And parents have gotta love that there’s a physical barrier now separating Junior & Sis, providing a clear-cut sibling-DMZ.
