New Issey Miyake concept shop by Nendo

24 Issey Miyake is a new concept shop by, you guessed it, Issey Miyake, scheduled to open this month in 4 department stores around Tokyo. Designed by Nendo, the Japanese firm behind the Cabbage Chair, each shop is characterized by a translucent, textured surface for hanging clothing and displaying items for sale. Mostly, though, I’m in love with the exquisite models and the miniature clothes that populate them, highlighting the subtle, ghost-like effect of the display system.
