Miley, Britney, & The “Twilight” Gang Sink Their Teeth Into The Teen Choice Awards
Posted in: Uncategorized  | Forget “Jon & Kate Plus 8,” “Dating in the Dark” or any of the other “quality” television programming you have scheduled on your TiVo for tonight — the 2009 Teen Choice Awards on Fox is where it’s at. If you’re still a teen at heart (or are literally still a teen) and are dying to see the “Twilight” gang take home another dozen awards for their angst-ridden bloodsucking antics or witness Megan Fox nab a couple decorative surfboards basically just for looking hot, the event is a must-see. Despite the actual award-winnings and acceptance speeches, the Teen Choice Awards (which took place last night but air this evening at 8) are still worth a gander if you’re looking for a break from your mindless channel-surfing, since the red carpet boasted an impressive parade of celebrities — those in their teen years and beyond. Aside from the fact that so many stars were actually in attendance, what was even more impressive was just how skimpy some of the red carpet ensembles were (ahem Miley Cyrus).
