Maybe It’s A Big Horse…

The Getty Images Gallery in London opens its new show, Londoners Through A Lens, on 14 August. It features some great archive images of the capital’s people from 1900 onwards…

The show is billed as a sequel to the gallery’s previous London Through A Lens show – where the city itself was the focus. This time it’s the city’s inhabitants who are in the frame.

The Getty Images Gallery promises to reveal the “people of London, from the film stars to the flower sellers” and, as this rather nice selection of images from the press office reveals, it looks like it’s the regular people who are going to steal the show.

More info on the exhibition at the Getty Images Gallery site.
