pFor her design thesis at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago,a href=”http://leenleem.com/” Lynn Lim/a explores the complex emotional response of “being grossed out,” from weird giddiness to total revulsion. She explores several low-level phobias in her work: bugs, mold, body parts, and awkward social situations. Pictured below are a toilet loveseat, tripe bathmats, and moldy tiles. pEven better: everything is blank and super white, all the better to attract dirt and footprints, enhancing the effect. Not sure if that was intentional or not, but it works./p
