Isreal-born desiger, Yigal Azrouel is a self-taught draper who has reached genius status. Sumptuous knits, silks and other luxurious fabrics are twisted and draped expertly to flatter the female form. The dresses are definite objects of desire with classic shapes given an edgy makeover and a healthy dose of sex appeal. Peek-a-boo cutouts, body skimming fabrics, and of course, gorgeous and flattering draping, Yigal Azrouel dresses and ‘basics’ are not only chic and youthful, but surprisingly versatile as well. A classically somber color palette of black, white, and greys lets the beauty and quality Yigal Azrouel’s designs speak for themselves.
