Jennifer, Vanessa, Nicky, Or Dakota: Who Shined Brightest In Her Spring Sequins?
Posted in: Uncategorized  | It’s no news that sequins have hit their height in the past style season, fully bedazzling everything from cardigans and blazers to shorts and leggings. But while cool-toned metallics and the whole “just-swam-in-a-pool-of-glitter” look are more reminiscent of last fall and winter, I can’t help but notice that some of our favorite red carpet fashionistas have been very recently spotted still rockin’ last season’s bling instead of springing forward to something more season-friendly and of-the-moment. Don’t get me wrong — I’m the biggest fan of anything sparkly and shiny (all day, every day), so I’ll be the first to celebrate with head-to-toe sequins if the truth is they really are here to stay through the sunnier months ahead! Jennifer Love Hewitt and Vanessa Hudgens both glowed in gold-tinged sparkle, while Nicky Hilton put a more glamorous spin on a shirtdress with her silver version. And Dakota Fanning’s babydoll silhouette may have been predictable, but the sequins definitely gave her dress a more grown-up edge!
