The 1980s product My First Sony was egregious enough, but this Baby Blackberry by Leapfrog is just too much. It’s just a matter of time until your kid is as tethered to electronic devices as the rest of us, oughtn’t you let them enjoy their short-lived freedom from e-mail?

The good news is that while your kid can type messages on the Baby Blackberry, it’s not actually hooked up to anything. Though come to think of it, if a parent actually buys this for their child, I think it should be connected with that parent’s address book and banking sites so the kid can wreak proper havoc.
