Hardware for glass doors
Posted in: UncategorizedFrameless glass is cool-looking, but not without its design challenges. For instance, let’s say you want a glass door that rolls, but you don’t want to slap a frame on it and destroy that emotionally frigid aesthetic; what to do?
An Australian company called MFGS (that’s Metro Frameless Glass Systems) distributes a line of products called MSW (Manual Sliding Wall) manufactured by German company GEZE, and the result of that alphabet soup is the cool little wheel you see in the photo above. It bonds to the glass like those metal connectors on the steps of the Apple stores and rolls on a slight, tidy track.
They also make these cool ceiling-mounted tracks that someone probably tore their hair out trying to calculate.
