Great lo-fi music video by Lulu The Lampshades

Here at CR towers, we love an engaging music video – no matter how lo-fi the production. And it probably doesn’t get more lo-fi than this: two girls clapping and playing what appears to be two empty food cartons (think one might have had chicken stock in it originally) on a kitchen table as they sing their song…

Marvel, as Lulu and Heloise (from Bristol-based musical combo, Lulu & The Lampshades) perform this stripped down, percussive version of their song, You’re Gonna Miss Me. This YouTube clip is actually about a year old, but we wanted to post it up anyway as we’ve only  just seen it – and we love it. This, if we’re not very much mistaken, is what YouTube is all about!

Thank you to Leo at The Darling Department for showing us this YouTube link this morning. Leo wanted us to also mention that Lulu (on the left in the above video) also sings on the new single, Garden, by Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosours
