But after watching the spring shows where many designers took a trip to the country, I’m starting to change my opinion of the prim print. Christopher Kane sent down his country beauties in pastel windowpane gingham that were anything but bland and boring with their cut away seams and sheer overlays. A classic gingham blouse gets a girly twist with ruffled hem and sheer fabric like Kimchi Blue’s gingham tank. Try gingham in a non-traditional yellow that keeps it far away from picnic table territory.
