Hasta La Ideas

I am looking forward to seeing Audrey Tautou as Coco Chanel in the soon-to-be-released film. I saw many posters for the film plastered about in Scandinavia; I think perhaps it is being released in Europe first. In the meantime, Tautou stars in a short film/commercial for Chanel No5. Chanel has a website dedicated to the film and its making. The seamless website offers an excellent experience—simple navigation with sparse, elegant content. The film itself is gorgeous and romantic, as to be expected, but what I really enjoyed watching is the short documentary about the making of. It is very interesting to see the detail work, staging, lighting, and colour grading, especially in comparing the reality with the resulting illusion. { via BlackEiffel }
