Fantastic design for a low-tech, zoomable paper map

I love this idea: Map2, “The zoomable map on paper,” uses nothing but folding and carefully-considered printing to achieve its killer app. The map is divided into four quadrants, and you simply grab whichever quadrant you’d like to see more of and pull it outwards, unfolding a zoomed-in view of that area.

As useful as having entire maps in your iPhone and pinching and zooming them around is, there’s something nice about being able to see more than business-card-sized area at a time.

Sadly, Map2 currently exists only for London.
