While neutral has the connotation of being barely noticeable, this summer’s versions of the color family is anything but — shimmery bronze, lush forest greens, rich chocolate browns, etc. The great thing about neutrals for summer — especially highly-pigmented, shimmery ones — is that they look gorgeous without looking heavy, too powdery, or overdone.
