EK’s bags from recycled firehoses
Posted in: Uncategorized“Industrial waste is the cornerstone of our company,” proclaims Dutch fashion accessory company Elvis & Kresse, which manufactures products from a host of recycled materials ranging from old furniture upholstery to eyeglass cases. Shown above are two of their bags made from recycled British firehoses that, in their previous life, saw 25-30 years of use before E&K cleaned them up.
The company’s green leanings are thorough: Their recycled packaging is shipped in used boxes, like grapefruit crates, and even the product labels are printed on old luggage tags.
