QVC has hopped on board with their recent Janie Bryant announcement and now Design Within Reach is trying to tie in to the Mad Men audience as well. Following new CEO John Edelman‘s move to get the company out among the public more, the furniture retailer has announced a collaboration with AMC, the show’s network, to launch a branded contest from the start of its fourth season (this Sunday) until August 4th, where they’ll pick a winner to “Mad Men his or her living room,” which include a sofa, an armchair, three tables, a rug and a lamp (you’ll have to provide the nicotine-coated wallpaper and hidden empty bottles of liquor yourself). Here’s Edelman on the contest:

“Viewers of Mad Men are already fans of the elegant, iconic furniture on the show, so a promotion with AMC was a natural for us,” says DWR President and CEO John Edelman. “We are passionate about modern design, whether it’s a contemporary take on mid-century lines, such as our Raleigh and Skagen collections, or original designs licensed by the manufacturer, like the AJ Floor Lamp by Arne Jacobsen, legendary creator of the Egg Chair.”
