Made from manly-sounding materials like stamped steel, forged chromoly and machined aluminum, their line-up comes in five variants: Eggbeater (racing), Candy (mountain), Acid (gravity racing), Mallet (downhill) and 5050 (freeriding)./p

pIn addition to pedals, the California-based A HREF=”http://www.crankbrothers.com/” CrankBrothers/A manufacture a full line of bike accessories including wheelsets, bars, stems, seatposts, and even pumps and a line of custom cyclist’s multi-tools. Though the categories are different, they all share the same slick aesthetic, which has its provenance in many different places: CB’s inspiration page cites sources as diverse as Bang Olufsen, Marc Newson and Mandarina Duck.
