The Metropolitan Museum of Art, one of the world’s finest museums, seeks a Designer for the Museum’s Merchandising Department. The Designer will execute conceptual designs, hand or technical designs, and design coordination and collaboration for new product initiatives and ongoing development projects. Responsibilities include executing designs across a wide range of projects and products, handling multiple assignments, collaborating with Product Team Members on new product initiatives, strategic direction, and status of design deliverables, as well as, achieving desired product aesthetics (scale, color-correcting, cropping, and material selection) based on original art objects or as directed by the Product Design Manager.
