Art Center College of Design invites applications for the position of Chair of the Humanities and Design Sciences Department (HDS). The Chair is responsible for all aspects of the direction and management of the department. The primary purpose of HDS is to support Art Center’s studio-based, transdisciplinary, undergraduate degree programs in Advertising, Entertainment Design, Environmental Design, Film, Fine Art, Graphic Design, Illustration, Photography, Product Design, and Transportation Design, and in some instances to work in conjunction with Art Center’s graduate programs in Art, Broadcast Cinema, Industrial Design, and Media Design.
