Organized entirely by students from Brown University and the Rhode Island School of Design, the conference takes place in Providence, Rhode Island, October 1-3. An impressive line-up of speakers, panels, and workshops will explore the role design and the design process can play to impact social change #151; and quite simply #151; just make the planet a better place for everyone./p

pThis year’s 1HDC is tough one but really exciting, we’ll be putting conference attendees into teams of 4-6 people, announcing the theme exam style, and starting the clock. Our only tip: find yourself a really smart partner, and another one who can draw if you can’t./p
