Clogs For Summer To Fall! Love ‘Em Or Hate ‘Em?
Posted in: Uncategorized  | While fashion may not be as divisive as say politics, religion or Betty vs. Veronica, there are some trends and clothing articles that cause quite a rift and many a tiff between the sartorial-minded. Much like overalls, harem pants and jumpsuits, when it comes to clogs, you either love ’em, or you hate ’em. Despite your personal preference for the wood heeled wonders, thanks to Chanel and Miu Miu€™s spring collections, the clog has arguably been the shoe of 2010. It€™s impossible to read a blog, check out an accessories report or Google image search your favorite fashionista without coming face to face with the clog. Personally, I am a huge fan of the clog, and have been since my formative years back in the 90s when I rocked this trend for the first time (probably wearing a pair of overalls, natch). This time around, I’ll be pairing mine with feminine mini dresses (adding tights come fall), or cuffed boyfriend jeans and a simple top. My styling tip would be to let this funky accessory shine, don’t pair it with too many other trends or stand-out pieces… and no long skirts please, lest the 70s come calling.Whether you are like me and ready to dive right in to this trend, or aren€™t sure if you can quite get over the milkmaid vibe, there is a clog out there for every budget… and every commitment level.
