The Tech Force Pen is a solid housing for the HI-Tec C Ink Cartridge. Extremely popular among architects, artists, students, and designers, the cartridge is noteworthy for its C Ink composition, tip design, and fine line capability. The Tech Force Pen comes with a sleeve etched with metric and imperial ruler indications. The pen glides into the ruler sleeve where it is held in place by pneumatic pressure. When pulled from the ruler sleeve the escaping air makes a characteristic “pop” sound! Vid after the jump!

The way children take to Toys R Us I take to stationery stores. Maybe this is why I am totally excited about the Comos, a compact and unique office supply tool. The ideal combination of a pen, a sharp pencil, a knife and a ruler that are magnetically held together! Comos relieves you of the need to carry an array of tools on the go; I like its simple design and the fact that the stationery is detachable, yet unified.

There is always going to be a limit to the length of a ruler, unless something clever comes our way. The Consistent-motion Ruler is clever and innovative. It has moving parts that require your thumb and index finger for support. Simply adjust them along the length of the ruler and keep extending the line. Fantastic!

Your index finger has many purposes; just add plus one to it! Thanks to the Finger&Ruler concept, you can measure the dimensions of an object by simply rolling the ruler over it. The wheel concept makes it easy to measure using just one hand, in lieu of the traditional tape measure and two-hands! Simple and functional, I really think this concept rocks!

The Finger&Ruler is a 2013 iF Design Award concept design winner.
