Le compositeur Johnnyrandom a récemment dévoilé une musique réalisée entièrement en utilisant uniquement des sons tirés à partir d’un vélo et de différents composants. Ce morceau, appelé Bespoken, propose de découvrir le processus de création avec une belle vidéo. Plus de détails dans la suite.
The illume is a bicycle that combines a simple bike design with advanced technology. To overcome the problems of riding at night, the design merges the indicator, brake and headlights into the frame in a way that it affords a safer ride. A lithium-ion battery and an actuator that transforms kinetic energy to electrical energy power the lighting system that is integrated into the frame.
Crafted from aluminum and carbon fiber, ‘illume’ provides complete suspension with a suitable form.

In pure cafe racer style, the Monocasco pays homage to retro motorcycle designs, but with a modern compact electric motor in substitute of a twin petrol engine normally found in this style. ZIPcycle is the next evolution of the bicycle, aerodynamically optimized for less exertion & higher cruising speeds. In short, the rider gets more output with less input! The position of the rider is streamlined & elements are enclosed with fairings to greatly reduce drag; so much so that about 40% less energy is required to maintain a cruising speed of 20MPH (double the average commuting speed). The ergonomic riding stance also reduces handlebar strain & seat pressure… all this & riders still get an open-air experience!
ADDITIONAL FEATURES:
-Monocoque aluminum chassis;
-Linked steering mechanism, connecting the handlebar to the steering tube and front wheel fork (a mechanism found in underseat steering recumbent bicycles)
-Hub shifting in the rear wheel to accommodate the necessary gearing range
-Lubricated bearings, gears, and chains enclosed within the chassis in an internal driveshaft beam (so you will never again get grease on your clothes)
-Hollow tail-box, accessible by tilting the ventilated seat forward, spacious enough for a medium sized bag
