A Swiss Army Knife of a Table

D*Haus’ D*Table is a functional 3D puzzle inspired by the Haberdashers Formula! Discovered by English mathematician Dudeney in 1903, it turns a perfect square into an equilateral triangle by dissecting the square into four distinct shapes. Dudeney’s achievement lay dormant in mathematical textbooks for over 100 years, but when applied to modern design, the possibilities are endless! Functionally flexible, this coffee table adapts to any space while encouraging play and user interaction.

Star Gazing Table

The Nebula table is created from a combination of polygons that play with the viewer’s perspective, making the facade an interactive sculpture of sorts. Depending on the angle from which it is viewed, the glossy black surface also gives a subtle, clouded reflection of surrounding colors that resembles an interstellar cloud. Composed of fiberglass, it’s a sexy accessory inside or out.

Massively Minimal

The SPAN table’s unusual yet simple construction achieves a bold, deceivingly bulky aesthetic that is actually composed of minimal material usage and slender proportions. Composed of sweet chestnut and toughened glass, the legs are jointed with bespoke corner fillets that mirror the legs themselves, independently bonded to the glass top. Lit from above, this striking separation is visible through the translucent top.

Table With an Identity Crisis

One look at the Split Personality table’s contrasting aesthetic and it’s easy to understand the clever name! The coffee table was inspired by designer Axel Yberg’s own self reflection on his constant personal battle of opposing emotions when presented with a design challenge. With steel legs on one side & black walnut on the other, the materials meet in the middle to create an interwoven representation of the harmony created when everything finally comes together. Something many designers can relate to!

Butterflied Table

Gotta love this butterfly inspired design – the latest creation from expert coffee table designer Romain Duclos. Three identical metal pieces are bent into shape and screwed together to create a multifaceted, two-toned base that appears seamless and visually light but is reassuringly sturdy.

Beautiful Blend

Just as the name suggests, the Wood-con-fusion table fuses wood, veneer and formica leftovers that are literally collected off the floor of local carpentry studios. Each table begins its life as a seemingly useless pile of scrap before fragments are pressed and processed into sheets used to create unique one-off pieces that are sustainable, über-functional, and downright pretty.

Nube Ain’t No Noob

Using modular pieces, the well-thought Nube coffee table offers a solution for both large scale production and personal customization. By focusing on the repetitive use of a single component, the unique base is easily constructed to size specification, yet maintains an organic and fluid shape not often found in other modular designs. Furthermore, the versatile design of the base means it can be flipped upside down for an entirely new aesthetic that functions just the same!

Skeleton Inspired Furniture Series

The Spaceframe furniture series is based on the natural form of a vertebrate- a central “backbone” element defines the overall shape of the chair and branches out into a set of “ribs” that form the seat. Composed of CNC machine-cut plywood, the components are planar until combined, without screws or adhesive, into the final 3D cross-bracing structure.
