BTAA Craft Awards Winners

Sarah’s Story, Motor Neurone Disease Association

 

The winners of this year’s BTAA Craft Awards are in, with Bare Films’ hard-hitting ad Sarah’s Story for the Motor Neurone Disease Association picking up the gong for Best Crafted Commercial of the Year. Sarah’s Story also won best Sound Design for Aaron Reynolds @ Wave.

 

House Party, Adidas

 

Reflecting the economic climate, the BTAA this year are simply releasing the winners info online, rather than via its usual gala ceremony. Among the other big winners this year is Nima Nourizadeh, who won the Best Direction award for his excellent House Party film for Adidas, while Simon Ellis won the Best New Director gong for his impressive set of online films, Choose A Different Ending, for Anti-Knife Crime.

Best Computer Animation: Smith & Foulkes for DfT, The Boy Who Didn’t Stop, Look and Listen

 

 

Best Costume/Wardrobe and Best Stunts: Grazia Materia and Franco Salamon for Stella Artois, Triple Filtered

 

 

Best Live Action Special Effects: Mark Mason & David Payne @ Asylum for Sony Bravia, Extreme Detail

 

 

Best Original Music: Jonathan Goldstein for Zurich, Consumer

 

 

Best Use of Recorded Music: Ant Moore @ Factory and Ted Heath @ RKCR/Y&R for Radio 2, A Bit of a Mash Up

 

 

Best Video Post Production: The Mill for VW Golf, Fight
