Bluetooth headsets, real vs. rendered

Plantronics’ 975 Bluetooth headset is now on the market, loaded with noise-cancellation technology but featuring an attractive ultra-minimal design.

Here’s what the Bluetooth headset competition looks like from our Coroflotters:

Lipp Chong Tan’s chunky take features a pivoting earpiece for storage.

Mathew Lau’s BluePointer combines the headset with a laser pointer and LED flashlight.

Stephen Christopher designed and rendered up rather a lot of H-series headsets for Motorola while under their employ:

Like Lipp, Pierre Duthoit has also gone the chunky route with his rubberized headset that looks soft enough to chew (and which has been amusingly mislabeled as a cooktop):

And for something a little different, be sure to check out our earlier post on Pedro Gomes’ Bluetooth-headset-in-a-bracelet.
