Beauty Pick Me Up – Get ‘Golden Globes’ Gorgeous!

imageWe’re sure that many of you, like us, watched the Golden Globes over the weekend and while hearing the speeches and seeing who won is very exciting, the best part of the Golden Globes is to see all the beautiful celebrity looks!

While floor sweeping gowns and necklaces dripping with diamonds are wonderful to behold, there aren’t many places and occasions for us to go to dressed in our red carpet best. But one thing we can borrow from the Golden Globes and try for ourselves is all the gorgeous make-up looks!

We’ve found three amazing makeup styles that we’re dying to try for ourselves and we’re telling you how to get it here! Take a look at our celeb beauty tips!

Halle Berry’s Deep Smoky Eye – A sexy, sultry look for any night out! Prep eyelids with a shadow primer to make sure your smoky eye stays smudged just the way you want it, and doesn’t later become a ‘panda eye’!

Sweep on a matte shadow of dark brown or a grey black over the lids and blend outwards. Choose a soft black liner and line along the top and bottom of eyes.

Blend with the provided smudge tip, focusing on smudging the corners outwards to create a more smoldering effect. Brush on your favorite volumizing mascara.

Emma Stone’s Glowing Neutrals – Make your eyes pop while keeping a natural look! Sweep on a pale champagne shimmer over the lids and up to the brow bone. Sweep a light bronze or sheer gold over lids, focusing more saturation in the crease.

With a freshly sharpened liner or gel liner, line the top of lids and half of the lower rim, making sure to connect the line of the top lid and bottom lid to create a small cat-eye. Curl lashes and brush on a layer of lengthening mascara to complete the look!

Carrie Underwood’s Luscious Lashes – Bat your lashes with this sexy, flirty look! Choose a light neutral tone and sweep onto lids and brow bone. Focus a darker taupe in the creases and line lids with a thin line of liner, both top and bottom.

Curl lashes and brush on a lengthening mascara that will separate lashes as well. Let it set for 60 seconds, and brush on a coat of volumizing mascara. Let is set for another 60 seconds and brush on a second coat of volumizing mascara. Use one coat of lengthening and one coat of volumizing for bottom lashes.
