Art Revealed by Revell

Yes, yes, we know. Dropping pigment into water, it’s been done before. A lot. But that doesn’t make Giles Revell’s BBC trailer any less beautiful to watch

Revell was commissioned by Red Bee Media to create the trail for the BBC’s Art Revealed series. Though long famed for his beautiful still life shots, Revell, like many photographers, has recently been exploring moving image work prompted in part by publishers needing content for iPad apps (we’ve even included a Moving Image category in our Photography Annual for the first time in light of this, plug, plug).

Check out his beautiful films of plants for the Times’ Eureka magazine iPad edition here
