Choosing a clutch or evening bag is tough. I mean, you hardly know where you’re going to be on any given night, much less what you’ll be wearing, so how are you realistically supposed to find a bag that will match a completely unknown situation? You could stick with basic black, because it’s reliable and elegant, but honestly, it’s a little boring (sorry black Lauren Merkin clutch sitting on my shelf, I’ll make it up to you). You could pick up an excessively embellished number and stick to basic outfits to balance it out, but that’s kind of restrictive.
