AIGA, seeks a communication designer for a one-year fellowship, assisting the Oregon Secretary of State in the design of election materials–specifically those associated with training election officials and staff, educating the general public, adhering to the election reforms mandated by the Help America Vote Act (HAVA) and Oregon State Law, and enabling effective ballot casting. Knowledge of document and web design and production processes, including experience working directly with printers, paper suppliers and technology providers to produce deliverables and manage deadlines. Experience applying knowledge of information architecture, usability and accessibility issues.
