Most of us are content to throw our laptops into thin bags with minimal padding, but for those of you that are paranoid about protection (or if, God forbid, you have to check yours in), Odyssey Cases makes some seriously heavy-duty laptop protection. Their sexily-named VU200711HW, above, is watertight, dust-proof, impact-resistant, and comes filled with “a diced foam interior that can be plucked to the shape of the gear you are storing inside.” Might be a bit much to carry to the office every day, but definitely looks like it will survive those layovers where the baggage handlers have apparently been replaced by gorillas.
