A’ Design Awards winners 2012
Posted in: promotionsDezeen promotion: entries are now being accepted for this year’s A’ Design Awards. Here are some of the winning projects from last year, including a beach house in Kuwait by Agi Architects (above).
A clutch handbag that folds like origami and is held in shape with magnets (above) was a Platinum A’ winner at the awards.
An advertising office in Amsterdam with surfaces covered in grey felt (above) won a Silver award in the Interior Design category.
A cork stopper that sharpens pencils into a conical flask (above) received a Golden A’ award.
A traditional timber townhouse in central Kyoto converted into a cosmetics store was awarded the Platinum A’ for Interior Design.
The Golden A’ Social Design award winner was indoor shoes made from salmon leather and wool local to Chilean Patagonia (above).
A triangular notebook that opens out into a square (above) was another Golden A’ winner.
The Platinum A’ Arts, Crafts and Ready-made award went to a cave carved from soft plastic sheets (above).
Inspired by a pleated skirt, a cone-shaped table lamp (above) was given a Platinum A’ Lighting Design award.
A Silver A’ Packaging Design award was given to confectionary bags for Panda Liquorice (above).
