A better bike stand.
Posted in: UncategorizedIf there is anything in the city we would wish to have more of, it is good bike parking. In particular bike stands where you can lock your bike without acrobatics, and that are placed with enough distance to the next stand not to tangle bikes. Most public bike stands must have been designed in the days when they did not have to lock bikes. But there may be better designs in the works. This bike stand, for instance, by Belgian designer Roel Vandebeek for Wolters Street Furniture affords both support and a convenient locking device and a small footprint.brbr
