As part of the Advanced Development Team, this industrial design role is responsible for emotionally charged designs fueled by Yakima’s successfully proven consumer insight process. The Industrial Designer position requires outstanding product design skills and knowledge of materials including metals, plastics, coatings, and soft goods, processes and technologies to create innovative designs for a broad spectrum of vehicle accessory collections. This position will develop and promote relevant design innovation to strengthen the Yakima brand. It requires effective communications and presentation skills to achieve ownership and acceptance of design concepts by various internal and external audiences.
