What first caught our eye was Ariele Alasko’s amazing store filled with handmade wooden goodies but then we hit the motherload when we ventured onto her website and saw these beautiful headboards and other wooden delights! The way she plays with wood and combines different coloured woods to create such pieces of art is simply amazing. 

It is a tedious process creating each piece as every piece of wood has to be cut precisely to fit, so it is no wonder it takes days or even weeks to complete each. Ariele collects all her materials, cleans them and then uses the wood in their natural state (colours, patina and all) to create these patterns.. no stain involved!
